My name is Angela Cruz widow of Johnny Cruz. Johnny was a devoted husband and devoted father of three beautiful sons. He was also known as Johnny "El Brujo" Cruz, singer and accordion player for his band The Texas Chain Gang. On December 10, 2011, Johnny was in an accident that took his life abruptly. With my permission, his friends and family will be honoring Johnny "El Brujo" Cruz by hosting a benefit for his three sons and aid with the financial burden that comes with losing a father. The Johnny Cruz Benefit is scheduled for January 21, 2012, at the Presidente Ballroom in Rosenberg, TX. Many of his family, friends, and fans have come together to donate their time and talent to provide food, DJ music, an auction, and perform live in an ongoing effort to help raise funds. If you or your company would like to help with donating items for the auction, the family would greatly appreciate it. Please do not feel limited to the auction, we would be extremely grateful to receive monetary assistance and/or items for the food (BBQ plate sales).
