The El Campo Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture is preparing for our 2nd Annual Prairie Days Festival to be held October 2, 2010. Prairie Days Festival is a free event that the Chamber of Commerce hosts with the help of numerous volunteers and sponsors. We are in the process of seeking out sponsors for this well-attended and publicized event. Prairie Days Festival would not be possible without our participating sponsors. Thank you for the faith you put in us the first year, and we hope you will continue to support this year.
Last year we had an estimated 4,000 people attend the festival throughout the day that enjoyed free children’s activities, live entertainment, vendor and food booths and a spaghetti cook-off. This year we are have worked diligently to secure a superior line up of bands in effort to expand our festival. Our goal is to attract a large crowd of local citizens as well as people from outside of our community to increase tourism and sales tax dollars for the overall betterment of El Campo.
